The Belgium, Thierry Goffinet with Artuut Jh Z, won the first Grand Prix – Horse World Channel of Vilamoura Atlantic Tour 2017 and shows that we can expect amazing courses for this tour. The belgium rider, known for your unbelievable velocity, was only 0.02 seconds faster than Marlon Zanotelli with Siren de La Motte , set which ended the course in 32.12 seconds. The Belgian Thierry Goffinet had already won in second place the 1.45m class on Friday, the course scoring to the FEI Longines Ranking (International Federation of Equestrian Sports).
In the Grand Prix – Horse World Channel, we watched incledible sets competing. Mathieu Billot with Ileana S, from France, conquered the third place, finishing the course in 33.24 seconds. In the final event of the sixth day of Vilamoura Atlantic Tour 17, were present 41 sets with a course composed of 13 obstacles.
The best Portuguese set in the Grand Prix, was Mario Wilson Fernandes with Stroudwood Eldarado, the fifth place. Mario Wilson Fernandes had already been two times on top five in the first week of Vilamoura Atlantic Tour 17, and won on Saturday the 1.40 m class, scoring to FEI Longines Ranking.
In the 1.30m class of sunday, the Spanish rider Mariano Martinez Bastida with Vahine de Bremoy won in the 1.30 m class, finishing the course in 52.16 seconds, almost two seconds apart from the second place. The prodigy Luiz Filipe de Azevedo with Quinola de La Motte, was first in the 1.20 m class.
The 1.40m Class was dominated by english, mostly by the spectacular Chloe Aston that conquered the first place with Amigo T and third place with Cecilia. The great english set Vanessa Jobson-Scott with Arthur Van de Helle, wich won two times in first place in the last two days, on Sunday won the 1.10 m class.
